Round 6
We have an exciting round 6 ahead..
Round 6 starts off with our first night games under lights on our new pitches. We have a blockbuster double header Friday night, taking place at our home ground. We see our senior womens team (3rd) take on Vikings (1st) at 6:15pm, followed by our senior men's team taking on Vikings at 8:15pm. Everyone should come on down and cheer the teams on. We will have the canteen open for hot food and drinks. Let's try and get a big crowd down there!

though due to earlier opportunities, North won 4-1

This week our Womens team came up against Ballarat North. The team kicked off with a great start having a few goes trying to get it up the field, without much luck on goal for most of the game. Unfortunately North came out on top with 8 goals. Well done to the girls for keeping their heads high and continuing to fight throughout the game.
Under 15’s
Forest VS Creswick
Round 5 saw the under 15’s take on top of the ladder Creswick.
The first half was a half to forget for the Rangers, conceding 4 goals over the 35 minutes. The second half fared better for the rangers with Lily Slater forcing the keeper into an excellent save from an effort on the edge of the 18 yard box. Tiarlah Anstis was once again in top form, saving the majority of Creswick’s chances, only conceding 2 goals in the second half.
Under 13’s
Forest VS Vikings
The under 13's came up against a tough opposition Vikings. We played a strong defence for the first half keeping the score line to 0-0, this was only possible by some amazing goal keeping. Forest started to run out of legs by the second half, with only one on the bench and Vikings were able to squeeze through their defence scoring 3 goals, and bringing the final score to 3-0 lost for Forest. However there is so many promising things to pull from this game moving forward.
