Round 15

Another cracking round down. This week we see all our teams played on Sunday, with a mixture of home and away games. If you have time come down and support our teams!

Senior men's

Forest VS North

Fitness and hunger were the two big differences separating the teams on the Friday night. A relentless attack with patience and discipline showed us the gap between ourselves and the top of the league.

Senior women's

Forest vs North

This week the senior womens team had their first run in 4 weeks after two forfeits and a few weekends off in between.

The first half started off strong against the North side. North gained the lead at the 17th and 30th minutes but the Forest Women kept strong and eventually got the chance to knock one in at the 43rd minute with a banger goal from Leah and a great team effort behind her.

Going in to the second half the girls continued to hold their form as well as they could with 10 players and in goals, Tamekha really held the defensive fort down with the girls unfortunately being defeated at full time 1-5.

Up and coming events

Calling all volunteers September is just around the corner and that means soccer finals! Whilst this is an exciting time for those teams who manage to make it, it is also a huge and exciting time for the club to make some much needed money! With out clubrooms being built as we speak, we will need all the money we can get to kit it out with style! Forest this year are responsible for finals on the 11th (Sunday) and 17th (Saturday) of September! The 11th we will be in charge of running everything, this includes; the canteen, providing ball collectors, ground marshals, ticket collectors and more, so it will be all hands on deck. The 17th of September (grandfinal day) we will be running the canteen and with a huge turnout expected we will need a lot of volunteers. If you have any time available for either day or both of those days can you please get in contact with someone from the club so that a roster can be organised. This is a huge opportunity for the club but we need help to ensure that we can get the most out of it! Thank you in advance from the Forest Committee.
