Darren 'Alby' Kinna sadly passed away November of 2018.
Alby Kinna Cup
Alby Kinna was a very well known figure associated with Forest Rangers Soccer Club, he was always at the functions, supporting as many games as possible of a weekend, and always had time for everybody, from the kids to the senior teams.
Alby was always a really strong supporter of the junior sector of the club, had a very good understanding surrounding the importance of player development and a great mind for soccer.

He was full of banter, loved his soccer and a huge fan of Richmond Football Club.
With the passing of Alby Kinna, we wanted to create something to honour the legacy he left behind with Forest Rangers Soccer Club, in doing so, the idea of a perpetual trophy along with Ballarat Soccer Club was considered due to the strong support Alby always had for Ballarat SC. Ballarat SC then kindly donated the trophy and the rest is history.
The first fixtured match each season between Forest Rangers and Ballarat in the division 1 competition, would play off for the Alby Kinna Cup
The Alby Kinna Cup, has remained with Forest Rangers each year since the launch of it in 2019.
